Introduction

Parth (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a mobile and web platform for therapy centres, therapists, parents, and guardians to coordinate sessions, attendance, reports, progress photos, and communication.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Parth, you agree to this policy.

Parth is a care coordination and operations tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.

Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, role (therapist, parent/guardian, or centre staff), centre affiliation, and profile details you provide during signup or in the app.

Care and session data: therapy session schedules, attendance check-in/check-out records, session notes, reports, document attachments, requests, and progress information entered by authorised users.

Photos and files: profile photos, progress photos, report attachments, and other files you choose to upload through the camera or system file/photo pickers. We only receive files you explicitly select.

Location data: when therapists use attendance check-in, the app may collect device location to verify presence at the therapy centre. Location is used for attendance workflows, not for advertising.

Device and usage data: app version, device type, operating system, push notification tokens, and basic logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Communications: messages and notifications sent through the app, including push notifications if you enable them.

How We Use Information

Provide and operate Parth, including authentication, session management, attendance, reports, progress photos, and role-based access.

Send service-related notifications such as session updates, report status, and account messages.

Maintain security, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and enforce our terms.

Improve features and reliability based on aggregated or de-identified usage patterns.

Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

How We Share Information

Within your therapy centre: information is shared with authorised users according to role (e.g. therapists, centre administrators, and linked parent/guardian accounts).

Service providers that help us run Parth, including cloud hosting and database services (Supabase), push notification delivery (OneSignal), and authentication/analytics infrastructure (Google Firebase) where configured.

Legal and safety: when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to respond to valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account or certain data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, access controls, and role-based permissions to protect information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials private.

Children’s Information

Parth is used to coordinate therapy care for children. Child-related information is entered and accessed by authorised parents/guardians, therapists, and centre staff.

Parents and guardians should supervise use of child accounts and contact us if they believe information was collected improperly.

Your Choices

You can update profile information in the app where available.

You can disable push notifications in device or app settings.

You can decline camera, location, or notification permissions; some features may not work without them.

On Android, photos and documents are selected through the system picker; the app does not request broad access to your entire photo library.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. We take steps to protect data in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date below.
